* Unless otherwise noted, each set includes a base gasket, 2 shifter handles, and instructions. If you have a 1-piece handle (i.e. a MGW shifter) you will not use the shifter handle gaskets.

* Sets mail within 24 hrs by 1st Class Mail. You'll receive email notification with the ship date. Allow at least 4-9 business days for delivery depending on your location. Occasional unexpected USPS delays may occur. If you live west of the Mississippi or if you need your set within 2-4 business days, I recommend the Priority Mail option (Item CB-16) at the bottom of the page.

* Payment by PayPal, a major credit card through PayPal, or personal check. Include your daytime phone number with your order in case I have a question.

* You will need to use Blue Loctite (or similar) on your shifter bolts when re-installing your shifter.

Installation Help: Drew Markowski provided a great set of installation instructions complete with photos for the TR-3650 transmission on a 2001 Mustang Cobra, but you can use the instructions for a general assist when installing your specific gasket kit. 2005-2010 Mustang GT, GT-500 and Mustang V6

It will not fit a B&M shifter, MGW or the Steeda Sport Shifter which have a 1-piece handle. Use either gasket. Gasket fits between the shifter handle and the shifter base. The gasket set helps to absorb transmission noise and provide an improved shift experience. Note that due to the design of the shifter with this application, a base gasket is not used.

Note #1 - Please note that GMM shifters have a built-in O-ring on the shifter base. If you have a GMM shifter I recommend that you remove the built-in O-ring. Although it removes easily, do so at your own risk as removing it could void your shifter warranty. Please also note that many people leave the O-ring in place and have not had any issues adding my base gasket.

Note #2 - Please note that the GMM Ripshifter Race version has a 1-piece handle so if you have this model you won't use the supplied small handle gasket. Whereas the GMM Ripshifter Street version is a traditional 2-piece handle and does use the supplied handle gasket.

Why Is The Shifter noisy?

Actually it isn't the shifter that is noisy. What you hear is transmission gear noise being transmitted through the shifter into the cabin.

The thin, irregular bead of silicon sealer normally used on the bottom of the shifter base doesn't do well as a noise isolator. The only real noise isolator is the thick rubber gasket on the shifter handle. It isolates some transmission gear noise, but not near enough.

My Shifter Gasket Sets are a simple and inexpensive solution! You can reduce this gear noise and enjoy a quieter shifter. My shifter gaskets work with both stock and aftermarket shifters.

All of my shifter gasket sets are available in the original 1/32" thickness, or in the new double thickness 1/16" PLUS Series. The
PLUS Series is easier to install due to the added thickness, and provides increased durability.
